The Packing Process
Moving your home or business can be stressful and time-consuming. This is because it involves a lot of planning and manual labor that can really overwhelm you. One of the most integral and tedious parts of moving is the packing portion. Sometimes packing your items can even be more stressful and tiring than the move itself especially if you’re moving from a big home or workplace. But, you don’t have to worry about this tedious manual job with our professional moving company. Our moving specialists are fully trained in the art of the perfect pack, ensuring that all your items are packed safely without any damages or breakages.
A professional packing service is all about saving you stress, time, and effort. When you choose us, we will do an on-site survey of your home and go through your moving inventory to determine what exactly needs to be packed and the amount and type of materials they will require. After listing out all of the items that need to be packed, our surveyor will give you an estimate of how much time the packing will take.
On the packing day, our team will bring all the packing materials and moving boxes ready to start the packing process. These materials include padding supplies, strong boxes, wrapping sheets, bubble wraps, scissors, labeling stickers, heavy-duty packaging tape, and marking pens. During the packing process, the most valuable things such as artwork, jewelry, and fragile items will be packed separately in lightboxes with padding to prevent scratching and breakage. The boxes are then labeled with a marking pen for easy identification.
Expensive electronics will be packed in their original boxes with the Styrofoam packing. If original boxes are not available, they will be wrapped in bubble wrap and the moving parts secured with stretch plastics. Large furniture and upholstery are disassembled if possible and wrapped to protect them against humidity, dust, impact, and temperature fluctuations during transportation.
